Grad school for MBA a good idea?

When I entered college I had no idea what I wanted to do, so my consular suggested communications since it was so broad. The field is broad and I like not being weighed down to one field. However I am about to graduate with my degree in Professional Communications. It is like a business communications. I am been looking at some of my job options and I really do not see anything I like. I have done an Internship at NASA doing PR/Marketing and did not enjoy the work but loved NASA. Some of friends and family tell me that a lot of non technical jobs don't care what your degree is in, but care that you have a degree and that I have to learn to market myself and my resume to the job I am applying for. I am thinking about getting my MBA after I graduate. Is this a good or bad idea? Anyone been in the same situation? Thanks.
