HELP! My tooth really hurts?!?

Well I went to my orthodontist a week ago or something and he said only one of my molars have grown thorugh, and im 14 so they should of came through when i was 12! So he said he's going to do x-rays when i got back in August. All of a sudden today, the whole left side of my mouth and head have been hurting, So i try brushing my teeth to see if that helps but when i brush one of them it's numb? HELP! If it helps I have had a few fillings...?
