How can i get my school involved with helping japan!!!?

i want to help japan,its so horrible what happened!! first the earthquake then TSUNAMI,also the aftershock and when we dint think it could get any worse the oil leak thing happened.im trying to get my school to do a fun raiser or something to help but what kind?i went to my consular but she said she would talk to the Principal and he would talk to me but that could take days.i need a good idea to get my school involved and fast. is there any ideas out there ill take any,please,please help me!! thank you so much!!
